Vaccine.

Vibrin^® is an inactivated, concentrated suspension of Campylobacter fetus bacteria in a patented repository base.

A vaccine used in healthy cattle as an aid in preventing campylobacteriosis (vibriosis) caused by Campylobacter fetus.

Keep out of reach of children and uninformed persons.

Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide variety of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Use entire contents when first opened.

Sterilised syringes and needles should be used to administer this vaccine.

As with many vaccines, anaphylaxis may occur after use. Initial antidote of epinephrine is recommended and should be followed with appropriate supportive therapy.

This product has been shown to be efficacious in healthy animals. A protective immune response may not be elicited if animals are incubating an infectious disease, are malnourished or parasitized, are stressed due to shipment or environmental conditions, are otherwise immunocompromised, or the vaccine is not administered according to label directions.

To avoid vaccination site trim-out, do not vaccinate within 60 days before slaughter.

General directions: Use only as directed. Shake well before use. Aseptically administer 2 ml subcutaneously in the upper part of the neck, under the skin.

A single dose is effective and there is no advantage in using 2 injections.

Primary vaccination: Administer a single 2 ml dose to all breeding cows and heifers between 30 - 60 days before breeding. Pregnant animals can be safely vaccinated.

Revaccination: Annual revaccination with a single dose is recommended between 30 and 60 days before breeding.

Store at 2 °C - 7 °C. Do not freeze.

Do not expose to direct sunlight.
