Indications: Antiparasitic dosing remedy for sheep with residual activity against four important roundworm species. For the treatment of wireworm in ostriches.
Efficacy:
Cydectin® 0.1% Oral Solution is effective against the following parasites of sheep when dosed at the recommended dose of 2 ml per 10 kg live mass:

Nasal bot larvae: Cydectin® 0.1% Oral Solution controls nasal bot larvae (first, second and third instar larvae).
External parasites: Controls itch mites.
Ostriches: Ostrich wireworm (Libyostrongylus douglassi):
Controls immature and adult stages at a dosage of 2 ml/10 kg live mass.

Not to be used in animals producing milk for human consumption
Do not slaughter sheep for human consumption within 7 days (Ostriches 15 days) of last treatment
Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and pets
Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product.
Wash hands thoroughly after use
Sheep should be vaccinated against pulpy kidney disease before treatment.
Destroy empty containers and do not re-use for any other purpose.
